We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the outgoing quality of our multi-disciplinary products meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations. This role involves comprehensive production processes understanding and collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest quality standards and process improvement.
Your day to day will look like:
- Drive supplier evaluation, certification, and ongoing audit management to ensure material quality, including developing and executing supplier audit plans for both new and existing suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead improvement initiatives, and provide quality support by managing non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and continual improvement programs.
- Define quality requirements, applicable standards, and product control plans for multi-disciplinary products. Identify opportunities for process improvement and process control to enhance overall product quality.
- Monitor and analyse production testing data to increase production yield. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production failures.
Requirements
You’d be a Good Fit if You Have:
- 5 years proven experience in quality engineering, preferably in a multi-disciplinary production environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to lead RCA and data-driven continual improvement.
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations, such as ISO9001, IPC-610, and IPC-620.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently at subcontractors' premises while effectively representing the company's interests.
- Bachelor's degree or Practical Engineer in Electrical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering (or equivalent experience).
