We are seeking a highly skilled ATE Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test systems for our hardware products.
Your day to day will include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining Automated Test Equipment (ATE) test stations, fixtures, and hardware test interfaces for production environments.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware specifications to develop comprehensive test coverage strategies.
- Developing test procedures and sequences for hardware validation, including power systems, signal integrity, and RF characterization.
- Collaborating with hardware design teams during schematic reviews, board bring-up, and debugging activities to ensure testability and manufacturability
- Integrating test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and DMMs into automated test solutions.
- Supporting production test sequences, addressing engineering deviations, improving yield, and optimizing cycle time through hardware and test fixture improvements.
- Developing automation scripts (Python) to control test equipment and streamline data collection.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hardware testing, ATE development, and production test engineering.
- Strong ability to read and analyze electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and datasheets.
- Hands-on experience with hardware testing methods and RF test equipment (e.g., Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators
- Proven experience in designing and deploying ATE systems and test fixtures for hardware validation in production environments.
- Experience with Python scripting for test automation and equipment control.
- Knowledge of firmware interfaces and Linux OS – Advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
