We are looking for a Head of HW to join our team. In this role you will lead the development of NoTraffic’s Platform hardware devices.

You will report to the VP R&D and take the lead on Hardware R&D of the company from specification, design, engineering to production.

Your day to day will include:

• Managing a interdisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical, optical and system engineers along with a project manager
• Define the HW development roadmap with various stakeholders from SW (Computer Vision, FW, etc.) and Product Management
• Managing contractors specializing in various fields of engineering
• Managing overall schedule of HW design and development process
• Leading research into new components, methodologies and technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience in taking a product from concept to production in an industrial or automotive setting
• Production of more than 1K unit/year or $10M/year of sales
• Experience in a startup environment
• Experience managing an multi-disciplinary team
• Experience in a similar role for at least 10 years.
• BSc in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Familiarity with Jira/Solidworks PDM or other project management software

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in system engineering
• Experience with products that integrate cameras and optical systems
• Experience with tracking radar systems
• Experience with wireless networking such as Wifi & LTE
